No, the system we use supports companies with hundreds of thousands
of users.
What equipment do I need ?
A standard PC/Laptop running Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac. An internet connection from this computer. Smartphone (Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian). If there is any doubt about what you have we can advise as part of the sign up process, and will configure whatever you have to work. Or we can provide devices for you as part of our service.
What support do I get if it goes wrong ?
Our support line is available 24 hours per day. We aim to fix all problems within one working day, if possible. We also have a support email address. As part of the package you receive telephone support.

What are the advantages/disadvantages ?
Ability to receive your emails when out of the office and have all your emails/calendar/tasks/contacts wirelessly synchronized on your smartphone. No lost emails, when you send an email from your phone it is in your sent folder on your computer back at the office. And changes made to your calendar are immediately synchronized to your phone so any changes made while you are out of the office are already available on your smartphone. Full corporate style email/calendar/contacts/tasks using Microsoft Outlook with all data backed up, protected from viruses and spam, yet no servers required in your office. Ability to see when your colleagues are free/busy without phoning them up. The wireless email alone saves the average person 45 minutes per day when out of the office. Professional email address e.g. your.name@anydomain.co.uk.
If I’m online all the time with my PDA, won’t
it be expensive ?
No, using a GPRS signal you are charged for the amount of data you use, not the amount of time you’re connected.
Where are the servers located ? Do I need any space for
them ?
No, they are located in our secure data centre in the UK. They
are protected by a backup diesel generator, dual internet connections,
and power supplies to ensure they achieve the maximum efficiency.
How reliable is the system ?
We have dual servers so that if one goes down the other takes all
the extra traffic. We aim to ensure that each server uptime is
99.9%. Maintenance work is completed at low usage periods such
as Sunday nights.
Can I take it abroad ?
Yes, wherever there is a GPRS signal. Different network providers
have different areas, however all provide coverage in Europe,
and most are now providing coverage in the metropolitian areas
of the USA. If you have a specific country you would like to
know if there is coverage then please contact us, and we can
advise.
How far can I take it from the servers ?
The only limitation is where you can get a phone signal. As long
as there is a phone signal, then you should be able to receive
GPRS, and hence the system will be fine.
What are the system specifications for my computer ?
Any PC/Mac bought within the last five years will run the system
fine.
How long will it take to set-up ?
We can have you account up and running within a working day. If
you have the devices already then we can have it configured as
soon as we can visit you, or talk through the configuration with
you on the phone. If required we can also migrate data from your
existing email system to the new one. The time required to complete
this depends on which system you are using at the moment and
how many users there are.
What’s the minimum contract length ?
12 months.
Is there a minimum numbers of users required per company
?
No, we start for 1 upwards.
How do I pay – monthly/quarterly ?
Monthly by debit/credit card
Is there a discount for large number of users ?
The cost to use the system depends on a number of factors, contact
us to work out a suitable price.
Will the system slow down as more users use it ?
No, we manage the system to ensure the systems provides excellent
response time.
Are there varying support levels ?
Not by default, but if you want particular levels then we can discuss
this as part of the contract.
How will this benefit me ?
The wireless email system will ensure that when out of the office
you will not need to come back to 50 emails the next day, or
plug in your laptop in the evening to download your emails. Also
that vital email that was sent to you at 9am, just as you left
the office, you will receive at 9am and be able to deal with,
rather than wait for a day until you are back in the office.
Will I need training ?
That depends on you. We can provide training for companies if so
required.
Is it going to effect what’s already on our computers
?
No, the software is industry proved, and compatible with all other
known software.
